Dr. Geoffrey Andrew Stroud died August 25, 2017 after living 93 years and helping others for over 70 years. He was born July 7, 1924 in England and grew up in Tottenham North East London. He is survived by four children and their spouses Hilary Stroud and husband John Sutula, Janice Stroud, Geoffrey and wife Karen Stroud, John and wife Nancy Stroud. He is survived by 8 grandchildren.

New fiber art mural at First Parish Church

This six-foot by five-foot mural was commissioned to celebrate the 300th anniversary of First Parish Church.

Russia on Friday promised a “tough response” to a U.S. order to shut the Russian Consulate in San Francisco and offices in Washington and New York, the latest round in a diplomatic tit-for-tat.

The U.S. issued its order Thursday and gave Russia 48 hours to comply, intensifying tensions between the two countries.

God sent me help after my husband, Christian Derbyshire, died. I had Chris’ entire trailer filled with millions of books, videos, DVDs and CDs. Mr Richard Fisco was the only person who helped me.

Only one person to help someone is all someone needs sometimes.
