The Boston Celtics are no strangers to adjusting on the fly this season.

They recovered from Gordon Hayward’s injury on opening night and the early absence of Marcus Morris to reel of 16 straight victories following an 0-2 start.

That ability to bounce back was on display again to help them remain perfect against the Western Conference.

Bowdoin College owned the board, dominated the perimeter, enjoyed all the comforts of Morrell Gymnasium and hustled to a 112-24 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington’s women’s basketball team Wednesday night.

By halftime, it was obvious the undefeated Polar Bears (8-0) were firmly in control after constructing a sturdy 60-8 lead.
