Old Orchard Beach has been “that” team for the Richmond High School girls basketball team over the past two seasons.

Two years in a row, the Seagulls sent the Bobcats home, including handing Richmond its only loss in a nightmarish 38-24 semifinal loss at the Augusta Civic Center last February.

Jessica Diggins and Kikkan Randall became the first Americans to win an Olympic gold medal in the sport today by shocking powerhouses Norway and the Sweden in the women's team sprint at the Pyeongchang Games.
