Welcome to General Trades

Hi! My name is Mary Giroux and I am a jack-of-all-trades which is why teaching General trades is a perfect job for me.  In this class, you will learn carpentry skills, auto detailing skills, landscaping, and home improvement along with cooking and retail skills as you work in the Dirigo Diner.  In general, you will gain multiple employability skills for you to be successful in any job you choose after high school or prepare for post-secondary school.  In 1992, I graduated from the automotive program at Region Ten and then in 1994, the Ford Asset Program at CMCC.  I have owned, operated and maintained rental properties for the last thirty years along with working in education.  I have always loved fixing, making and building things!  My hobbies include spending time with my family, buying estate jewelry, hiking, carpentry, reading, visiting the ocean and sitting by a campfire.
