Interested in Automotive Technology?

My interests in gears and how things worked started as a very young child taking apart my mothers egg timer to find out why it didn’t ding any more…. I never got it back together, but retained my interest in anything mechanical. In highschool I filled my free time at Region 10 in automotive technology and I was hooked.

I completed my degree in automotive technology at SMCC where I graduated phi theta kappa. While I was there I competed at Skills USA and won the gold medal both years I attended. I completed my ASE master technician certification and went on to follow a career in the performance industry. I trained at Hennessey Performance learning on record breaking cars. My adventures brought me back to Maine to start a family. Once back in Maine I became a Chrysler master technician. Working for Chrysler I found a new joy teaching work study students. 15 years later I found myself back at Region 10 where it all began for me.

All my free time is spent with my wife and 4 kids camping or doing anything and everything fishing. Either spending time on the water doing all forms of fishing. Or building custom fishing rods.
