Steelers Shazier put on IR

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed linebacker Ryan Shazier on injured reserve for the 2018 season to give him more time to recover from spinal stabilization surgery.

The team made the move on Wednesday, which will open up a roster spot for the AFC North champions as they begin organized team activities later this month.

Utah had a four-point lead in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night when Donovan Mitchell missed a jumper and sailed above three Houston Rockets to grab the rebound and finish with a nifty one-handed slam.

Singleton walked three and struck out two for the win.

Trey Booty led the offense with two singles. Holden Brennan. Cody Holman, Dan Pratt, Mason Brigham, Colby Clark and Singleton each singled.
