Diplomatic tit-for-tat between Russia and the U.S. escalates

WASHINGTON

Russia on Friday promised a “tough response” to a U.S. order to shut the Russian Consulate in San Francisco and offices in Washington and New York, the latest round in a diplomatic tit-for-tat.

The U.S. issued its order Thursday and gave Russia 48 hours to comply, intensifying tensions between the two countries.

God sent me help after my husband, Christian Derbyshire, died. I had Chris’ entire trailer filled with millions of books, videos, DVDs and CDs. Mr Richard Fisco was the only person who helped me.

Only one person to help someone is all someone needs sometimes.

A Durham man has been killed and two injured in a crash on Interstate 295 in Freeport late Thursday.

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland confirmed that Dana Thibeault, 52, was killed after the tractor-trailer cab he was driving was struck by a van driven by Mark Fleming, also 52, of Cape Elizabeth, who had swerved in order to avoid a deer.
