SOUTH PARIS — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade baseball team fell to Oxford Hills, 11-10, on Monday.

Kevin Connolly led the Huskies with an RBI double and a pair of singles in the loss. Weston Cooper, Sam Masse, Wilder Burns (two-run double), and Deklan Lay all had two hits.

TOPSHAM — Eli Schoenberg had two goals as the Mt. Ararat High School jayvee boys lacrosse team dropped a 10-2 decision to Portland on Friday.

Nolan Blessington and Addison Ineer had an assist each for the Eagles, while Robbie Hyde, Tristan Burch, Will Hagan and Trey Saucier played well.

In earlier action, Mt. Ararat fell to Morse, 10-2.

TOPSHAM — Mt. Ararat scored four runs in the sixth inning to rally for a 7-6 victory over Morse in jayvee baseball action on Monday.

James Singleton singled and doubled, and JD Dionne and Ian Brady chipped in with a single each.

Mason Brigham, Cody Holman and Trey Booty combined for three walks and four strikeouts.

Brunswick JH softball slips past Oxford

BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade softball team outscored Oxford Hills, 10-6 on Monday.

Mia Klimash got the Husky bats going with a double, followed by a Logan Brown RBI single. A hit by Riley McAllaster sent Brown home to get the Huskies on the scoreboard, 2-0.

McAllaster later doubled to drive home three more runs.
