Morse JV girls lax drops first

BATH — The Morse High School jayvee girls lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Greely, 11-1, on Saturday.

Mary Larochelle scored the lone Shipbuilder goal, off an assist from Nichole Brazee.

Sophie Wilson manned the cage for Morse, while Ally White allowed just one goal in the Greely net.

Natalie Mullin led the Rangers with four goals.

Third-ranked Bowdoin men’s tennis wins 2

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The Bowdoin College men’s tennis team closed its regular season with a pair of authoritative victories against Tufts and Wesleyan last weekend.

The Polar Bears finished their regular season with a record of 17-1, the best-ever regular season mark for the program, and will enter the NESCAC Tournament as the third-ranked team in Division III.

The Polar Bears climbed to 29-11 after winning 4-0 in game one and 13-1 in game two. The Beavers fell to 9-21.
