We learned that Lindell was colorblind when he was 4 years old. I was reading “Go Dog Go” and he asked, “What is the orange dog doing?” There was no orange dog on the page, so I asked him to point to it. He pointed to a green dog.

GRAY — Freeport led 10-8 after one quarter, but Gray- New Gloucester dominated the rest of the way, pulling away for a 48-16 win in high school jayvee girls basketball action recently.

Hannah Spaulding knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points for the Falcons. Teammates Maggie Riendeau and Abby Brier were solid contributors in the loss.

The Yachtsmen traveled to Bath Middle School on Monday for a Class A South preliminary matchup with eighth-seeded Morse and left with a hard-fought 58-54 victory.
