After several days of not being able to play due to poor field conditions and weather, the Portland Sea Dogs returned to Eastern League action on Tuesday night against Trenton.

The Sea Dogs and Thunder split a doubleheader, with Trenton winning the opener, 6-1, and Portland taking the second game, 6-4.

Sean Scott ripped a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Lisbon High School baseball team to a 5-4 Mountain Valley Conference victory over Dirigo on Tuesday.

Scott was 3-for-4 for the Greyhounds, who improved to 3-0 and hosts Oak Hill today at 4 p.m. Cole Bolduc added two hits in the win.
