LITCHFIELD — Walter L. Longley , 88, of Plains Road passed away on Saturday August 26, 2017 at Lakewood Continuing Care in Waterville. He was born on April 15, 1929, the son of Cyrus & Annie (Chandler) Longley. He grew up in Bath and graduated from Morse High School, Class of 1947. After high school Walter served in the United States Navy until 1950.

LEWISTON — Joseph J. Bagushinski, “Bags,” 70, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. He was born in Atlas, PA, on September 23, 1946, a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Papp) Bagushinski.
Elsie B. LePage, 87, passed away in Portland on August 26, 2017, after a long illness. Elsie was born in Livermore on February 19, 1930, the youngest of ten children of Mark Lester and Victoria Buzzell Burgess.
She graduated from Edward Little High School, where she was a majorette, leading the marching band with her elegance and beauty.

SCARBOROUGH (AP) — Police in Maine say a 5-yearold girl has died after being shot at a home.
Maine State Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday in Scarborough. Police say the 5-yearold was shot in a home where relatives live.
The girl was taken to Maine Medical Center where she later died. No one else was injured.
