Bowdoin’s Reynolds grabs NESCAC honor

BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College sophomore David Reynolds has been named Second Team All- New England Small College Athletic Conference in men’s basketball awards handed out by the conference on Wednesday.

Reynolds enjoyed a breakout campaign this winter, leading the Polar Bears in scoring at 15.4 points.

Fifth-seeded Bowdoin faces No. 1 Middlebury at 1 p.m. in the first semifinal game, while No. 3 Amherst takes on No. 2 Connecticut College in the second semifinal at 4 p.m. at Chip Kenyon Arena.

Nicholas (Nik) Herbert Reno, 28, of Bungunuc Road in Brunswick, Maine, passed away on Saturday the 24th of February 2018 after losing a short battle with drug addiction. He was born on April 30, 1989, at Midcoast Hospital in Bath, Maine.

Nik was welcomed into this world with loving arms by his father Terry Pender and his best friend/mother Bridget Reno.
